You will be part of a dynamic operations environment committed to safety, reliability, and service quality for Singapore's public transport network.

As a Service Controller, you will collaborate with operations, maintenance, and planning colleagues to ensure buses run on time, respond swiftly to service disruptions, and continuously improve service delivery. You will have access to real-time data, performance metrics, and automated tools to support decision-making and incident management. This position offers opportunities for professional development, ongoing training, and a collaborative, safety-focused culture.

Key responsibilities include real-time monitoring of service performance, incident coordination, data analysis, and schedule optimization. We value analytical thinking, teamwork, and the ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders. If you are passionate about public transport and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we would like to hear from you.

Responsibility

  • Monitor real-time bus service performance using CFMS and other operational tools to ensure reliability and on-time performance.
  • Coordinate with Operations Control, Field Supervisors, and Maintenance to respond to incidents, disruptions, and deviations from schedule.
  • Analyze service data, generate performance reports, and identify optimization opportunities to improve headways and resource utilization.
  • Support service planning by reviewing schedules, runs, and vehicle assignments; adjust in real-time to changing conditions.
  • Escalate critical issues to supervisors and stakeholders, ensuring timely communications.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, regulatory, and company policies; promote safe and customer-focused operations.
  • Participate in post-incident reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Logistics, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in transit operations, fleet management, or control room roles; CFMS experience is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret real-time data and make quick, informed decisions.
  • Proficiency with data tools (Excel, BI dashboards, reporting software) and familiarity with CFMS or similar fleet management systems.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills; able to collaborate across functions and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends; resilience under pressure.
  • Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards in Singapore's public transport sector; customer-service orientation.
