Responsibility
- Lead data-driven performance analyses for roster athletes using GPS, video, biometrics, and match data to inform training plans.
- Design and maintain dashboards and reports that track load, readiness, and injury risk across training cycles.
- Collaborate with coaches to translate analytics into practical practice adjustments and individualized player programs.
- Conduct biomechanical assessments and support return-to-play strategies with medical staff.
- Develop evidence-based recommendations for recovery, nutrition, sleep, and injury prevention.
- Stay current with sports science research and emerging analytics tools to continually optimize processes.
- Communicate findings clearly to multidisciplinary teams and provide data-backed guidance during strategy meetings.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Science, Data Analytics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in sports analytics, performance science, or athlete development within professional or high-level leagues.
- Proficiency in Python/R, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Experience with wearable technology, GPS analytics, motion capture, and biomechanics analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with coaches, medical staff, and leadership.
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable training prescriptions and coaching strategies.
- Eligibility to work in the United States and the ability to travel as needed.
