Responsibility
- Plan, execute, and supervise field surveying tasks using GNSS, total stations, levels, and mobile mapping tools.
- Establish and maintain accurate control networks and benchmarks for new and existing projects.
- Perform boundary, topographic, ALTA/ACSM, and construction surveys; prepare clear field notes and sketches.
- Process field data, QA/QC, and generate precise coordinates and drawings in AutoCAD/Civil 3D and ArcGIS.
- Produce professional maps, plats, and as-built drawings; deliver final signed and sealed documents as required.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and clients to interpret requirements and provide technical recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and local regulatory requirements; maintain accurate project documentation.
Qualification
- Bachelorâs degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field, or equivalent field experience.
- 3+ years of field surveying experience; Colorado Licensed Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) preferred; ability to obtain licensure is a plus.
- Proficiency with GNSS receivers, total stations, levels, and data collection software; strong CAD/GIS skills (AutoCAD/Civil 3D, ArcGIS).
- Solid understanding of surveying standards, legal boundaries, and best practices; accuracy-focused with strong math skills.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities; customer-facing experience a plus.
- Valid driverâs license and ability to travel to job sites as needed; willingness to work in diverse weather conditions.
- Commitment to safety and quality; familiarity with local codes and regulations in Colorado a plus.
