As Production Manager, you will orchestrate schedules, budgets, vendor relations, and technical crews to ensure seamless performances and a safe, inspiring environment for artists and audiences alike.

Responsibility

  • Develop and manage production calendars, budgets, and staffing plans for all mainstage and touring shows.
  • Coordinate with directors, designers, and production teams to plan technical requirements, load-ins, rehearsals, and previews.
  • Oversee contract administration, vendor procurement, and cost control to ensure on time, on budget productions.
  • Lead stage management coordination and ensure compliance with health, safety and union guidelines.
  • Communicate effectively with cast, crew, and stakeholders; prepare production reports and post show evaluations.
  • Manage risk assessment and scheduling for rehearsals, performances, and maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and front of house teams to optimize the audience experience.

Qualification

  • Minimum 5 years in theatre production management or equivalent; demonstrated success coordinating live performances.
  • Strong budget management, scheduling, and vendor negotiation skills.
  • Experience with union contracts and safety regulations; knowledge of OSHA and IATSE preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with production software and digital collaboration tools; aptitude for rapid problem solving.
  • Comfort working in fast paced environments with flexible hours during show runs.
  • Bachelor's degree in Theater Production, Arts Administration, or related field or equivalent experience.
