Responsibility
- Lead engaging tours in English and Spanish; additional languages are welcome.
- Provide accurate historical, cultural, and logistical information about sites such as Machu Picchu, Sacsayhuaman, and Ollantaytambo.
- Ensure guest safety and comfort, manage crowd flow, and respond calmly to emergencies.
- Adapt itineraries based on weather, group interests, and accessibility.
- Coordinate with drivers, local guides, and staff to ensure smooth logistics.
- Upsell or recommend add on experiences while maintaining high service standards.
- Collect feedback, document issues, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Represent the company brand professionally with impeccable customer service and storytelling.
Qualification
- Fluent in English; Spanish required or strong; additional languages are a plus.
- Valid guiding license or certification relevant to Peru (if applicable).
- Proven tour guiding experience in Cusco or Peru with strong storytelling skills.
- Excellent communication, public speaking, and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of Peruvian history, culture, and geography; basic first aid training is a plus.
- Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings; ability to walk long distances and uneven terrain.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem solving mindset.
