Responsibility
- Recruit, interview, and onboard new volunteers aligned with our core values.
- Coordinate volunteer schedules, assignments, and placement to maximise programme effectiveness.
- Develop and deliver engaging orientation and training sessions for volunteers.
- Provide ongoing support, supervision, and recognition to volunteers for optimal engagement and retention.
- Maintain up-to-date volunteer records and ensure compliance with safeguarding policies.
- Organise volunteer appreciation events and initiatives to foster a vibrant volunteer culture.
- Collaborate with staff to identify emerging needs and new volunteer opportunities.
- Evaluate volunteer program outcomes and prepare regular analytical reports for senior leadership.
Qualification
- Bachelorâs degree in social sciences, human resources, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 2 yearsâ experience coordinating volunteers or managing community programmes.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Computer proficiency, especially with MS Office and volunteer management software.
- Understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality practices.
- Self-motivated with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Flexible to work occasional evenings or weekends as required.
