As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will recruit, onboard, and steward volunteers, coordinate event logistics, and help grow our volunteer program through outreach and relationship-building with local partners. This is a remote-friendly role with in-person engagements in London as needed.

Responsibility
- Recruit, screen, and onboard volunteers for diverse projects across education, community health, and youth programs.
- Coordinate schedules, logistics, and communications for events and service days.
- Develop and maintain a robust volunteer database, tracking hours and outcomes.
- Support partner relationships with schools, shelters, and community centers.
- Lead volunteer recognition initiatives and maintain a positive volunteer experience.
- Assist with capacity-building activities, training sessions, and resource materials.
- Collaborate with marketing to promote opportunities on social channels and newsletters.
- Monitor program impact, collect feedback, and report metrics to leadership.
Qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a student-friendly, professional demeanor.
- Experience coordinating events, volunteers, or community programs is a plus.
- Organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced nonprofit setting.
- Proficiency with MS Office or Google Workspace; basic data entry and record-keeping.
- Comfort with public speaking and outreach activities.
- Respect for diverse communities and commitment to inclusion.
- Volunteer status or eligibility to work in the UK; flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
