Job description
Global Community Foundation is seeking motivated volunteers to support our community programs in London. This PART TIME role focuses on coordinating volunteers, assisting program leaders, and delivering meaningful experiences to local residents. Training and ongoing mentorship are provided. Flexible hours, with a mix of on-site and remote work as needed.
As part of our volunteer team, you will contribute to inclusive community initiatives, environmental projects, and youth outreach. If you are passionate about service, teamwork, and making a tangible difference, we want you aboard.
Responsibility
- Coordinate and schedule volunteer shifts for multiple programs in London
- Onboard new volunteers, provide orientation, and maintain engagement records
- Assist program managers with logistics, materials, and event setup
- Communicate program updates to volunteers and stakeholders
- Track attendance, outcomes, and feedback to improve volunteer impact
- Support outreach efforts to recruit diverse volunteers
- Represent the organization at community events and partnerships
Qualification
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills in English
- Organizational and time-management abilities
- Passion for volunteering and community service
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills (emails, spreadsheets, volunteer databases)
- Experience in events or community outreach is a plus
- Respect for diversity and commitment to inclusive programs
- Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
