Suncrest AgroTech is seeking an experienced Agricultural Operations Manager to lead our field and production operations in Salinas, CA. This role blends hands-on farming with data-driven leadership to deliver consistent yields, high-quality produce, and sustainable practices.

Responsibility
- Lead day-to-day farm operations including planting, irrigation, cultivation, harvest, and post-harvest processing.
- Develop and implement sustainable farming practices to maximize yield while minimizing waste and resource use.
- Direct field teams, assign tasks, train staff, and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with agronomy, supply chain, and product development to optimize crop performance and quality.
- Monitor production KPIs, collect data, and prepare reports for leadership and external partners.
- Manage equipment, maintenance scheduling, and vendor relationships for soil and water management systems.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support food safety programs (FSMA/QA).
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in farm operations, crop production, or agronomy
- Hands-on experience with irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler) and farm management software
- Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
- Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze production metrics and make decisions
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements (FSMA, OSHA, etc.)
- Willingness to work in field conditions and travel between sites as needed
