Responsibility

  • Lead day-to-day farm operations including planting, irrigation, cultivation, harvest, and post-harvest processing.
  • Develop and implement sustainable farming practices to maximize yield while minimizing waste and resource use.
  • Direct field teams, assign tasks, train staff, and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with agronomy, supply chain, and product development to optimize crop performance and quality.
  • Monitor production KPIs, collect data, and prepare reports for leadership and external partners.
  • Manage equipment, maintenance scheduling, and vendor relationships for soil and water management systems.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support food safety programs (FSMA/QA).

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in farm operations, crop production, or agronomy
  • Hands-on experience with irrigation systems (drip, sprinkler) and farm management software
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
  • Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze production metrics and make decisions
  • Knowledge of safety standards and regulatory requirements (FSMA, OSHA, etc.)
  • Willingness to work in field conditions and travel between sites as needed
