Responsibility

  • Oversee daily field operations, including planting, irrigation, fertilizer application, pest management, and harvest preparations.
  • Monitor crop health data and field metrics using sensors and farm management software; translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Collaborate with agronomists to design and implement crop programs tailored to soil, climate, and market needs.
  • Manage irrigation systems, water usage reporting, and scheduling to optimize efficiency while conserving resources.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards; maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Lead equipment maintenance, vendor coordination, and inventory control for field inputs.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 2+ years of hands-on field experience in crop production, irrigation, or farm operations.
  • Proficiency with farm management software, data analysis, and basic Excel/Sheets skills.
  • Knowledge of soil health, irrigation scheduling, pest management, and integrated pest management IPM principles.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities; ability to operate in a fast-paced field environment.
  • Commitment to safety, sustainability, and record-keeping; valid driver's license.
