GreenLeaf AgriTech is seeking an experienced Agriculture Operations Specialist to optimize field production across our farming operations in California's Central Valley. This role blends agronomy, data‑driven decision making, and hands on field work to maximize yields while maintaining sustainability and compliance.
In this role you will partner with agronomists, farm managers, and technicians to implement precise irrigation, soil health monitoring, crop scouting, and integrated pest management strategies. You will analyze sensor data, weather forecasts, and soil samples to inform daily operating plans and longer term improvements.

Responsibility
- Coordinate and manage field planning and execution across multiple plots
- Lead crop scouting and weekly field reports for yield optimization
- Oversee irrigation scheduling, fertigation, and water use efficiency
- Monitor soil health and nutrient management with data driven adjustments
- Implement IPM strategies and pest disease monitoring
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with data teams to analyze yields and drive continuous improvement
Qualification
- Bachelor degree in agronomy, soil science, horticulture, or related field
- 3+ years in field agriculture operations or an agronomy role
- Experience with precision agriculture technologies and sensor data
- Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, soil health, and crop management
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and cross functional collaboration
- Willingness to work in outdoor environments and travel between sites
