As an Agriculture Specialist, you will partner with growers to implement innovative practices, analyze field data, and drive tangible improvements across our farm operations. You will be supported by a collaborative team and have access to the latest agritech tools and training.
Responsibility
- Lead on-farm trials and crop performance tracking to inform better management decisions.
- Design and implement irrigation and soil management plans that optimize water use.
- Collect, analyze, and interpret field data to improve yields and quality.
- Collaborate with growers, researchers, and suppliers to deploy agritech solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
- Train farm staff and document standard operating procedures for repeatable success.
- Monitor pest and disease scouting and support integrated pest management strategies.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in agronomy, horticulture, agricultural engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years in field agriculture, agronomy, or agritech roles.
- Proficient in data analysis, Excel, and basic statistical tools; familiarity with APIs or GIS is a plus.
- Experience with irrigation systems (drip, micro-sprinkler) and soil moisture sensing.
- Strong knowledge of IPM, crop rotation, and sustainable farming practices.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Willingness to travel to field sites up to 40% of the time.
