TerraNova AgriTech is building the future of sustainable farming. We are seeking a proactive Agriculture Specialist to join our Fresno field team. In this on-site role you will lead field trials, monitor soil and crop nutrition, and translate data into actionable agronomic recommendations.

Responsibility
- Plan and execute field trials across multiple crops, ensuring protocol adherence and accurate data collection.
- Monitor soil health, nutrient management, and pest/disease scouting; coordinate with laboratories for analysis results.
- Manage irrigation systems and scheduling to optimize water use efficiency and crop performance.
- Collect, organize, and analyze data using standardized templates and basic statistics; contribute to internal dashboards.
- Collaborate with farmers, researchers, and product teams to translate findings into practical agronomic recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with biosafety, safety, and regulatory guidelines; maintain meticulous trial documentation.
- Provide training and guidance to interns and staff; participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in agronomy, agriculture, plant science, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of field research, farm production, or internship experience in agronomy or crop management.
- Strong knowledge of soil science, nutrient management, irrigation scheduling, and crop scouting.
- Experience with data collection, basic statistical analysis, and proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; familiarity with data visualization is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with precision agriculture tools, GIS, or remote sensing is preferred.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to field sites; ability to lift 50 lbs as needed.
