Job description

NovaQuant Analytics invites applications for an Applied Mathematics Research Scientist to join our modeling and algorithm development team in Cambridge, MA. The successful candidate will apply advanced mathematical theory to real-world data science challenges, including predictive modeling, optimization, and numerical simulation. Responsibility

  • Lead the design and analysis of mathematical models for complex systems using data-driven and mechanistic approaches.
  • Develop and optimize numerical algorithms with attention to accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with data scientists and software engineers to deploy models into production environments.
  • Interpret results, communicate insights to stakeholders, and drive decision-making with rigorous quantitative evidence.

Qualification
