As a key member of our team, you will lead mathematical modeling efforts, mentor junior researchers, and contribute to high-impact publications and client-ready deliverables.
Responsibility
- Lead the development of advanced mathematical models for complex systems, including stochastic processes, partial differential equations, and optimization problems.
- Design and implement robust numerical methods and simulations to validate models and guide decision making.
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and clients to translate theoretical insights into actionable solutions.
- Mentor and supervise junior researchers and interns, fostering a culture of rigorous research and reproducible results.
- Publish findings in peer-reviewed journals and present at conferences to advance the field and the company profile.
- Own project planning, milestones, and technical direction for multiple concurrent research efforts.
- Ensure high-quality, reproducible research with clean code and comprehensive documentation in Python, MATLAB, or Julia.
Qualification
- PhD in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or a closely related field; or equivalent research experience at a senior level.
- Strong expertise in mathematical modeling, stochastic processes, numerical analysis, PDEs, and optimization.
- Proficiency in scientific computing languages such as Python, MATLAB, Julia, and R, with hands-on experience in numerical libraries.
- Demonstrated publication record and impact on research communities or industry partners.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and mentoring skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
- Experience working in interdisciplinary teams and with industry partners to deliver practical solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality results on tight timelines.
