Responsibility

  • Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic system issues using OEM diagnostic tools and service information.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and inspections to ensure reliability and safety.
  • Disassemble, service, repair, and reassemble engines, transmissions, and drive trains as required.
  • Repair or replace worn components, including brakes, suspension, steering, and HVAC systems.
  • Test drives and verify repairs, documenting results and communicating estimates to customers.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to safety and environmental policies.
  • Mentor junior technicians and contribute to a culture of continuous learning.

Qualification

  • ASE Certified or enrolled in relevant certification program (preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive mechanic in a shop setting.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems: engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, HVAC.
  • Proficient with diagnostic tools (OBD-II, OEM software) and repair procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret service manuals and schematics; strong attention to detail.
  • Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and teamwork.
