QuillForge Studio is seeking a seasoned Creative Writer to join our dynamic team. You will craft engaging narratives across digital campaigns, long form content, branding inspired by fiction, and script ready materials for video and podcasts. This is a full time role in New York City that values originality, editorial rigor, and the ability to translate complex ideas into compelling stories. Remote friendly options are available for exceptional candidates.
As a partner to editors and product teams, you will shape concepts, draft compelling copy, and polish content to a high standard while maintaining brand voice and accessibility.
Responsibility
- Collaborate with editors, marketers, and product teams to develop original narratives across formats including articles, long form features, video scripts, and podcasts.
- Research and outline compelling story concepts that align with brand voice and business goals.
- Draft, edit, and polish high quality content with strong voice, rhythm, and clarity, maintaining consistency with house style.
- Adapt writing to multiple formats and audiences, including SEO focused web content and metadata.
- Lead narrative projects from concept to final draft, coordinating with designers and video teams.
- Mentor junior writers and contribute to editorial guidelines and best practices.
- Ensure content meets accessibility standards and adheres to deadlines and quality metrics.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in English, Creative Writing, Journalism, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of professional writing across formats such as articles, features, scripts, and social content.
- Exceptional storytelling abilities with a strong command of grammar and style.
- Portfolio demonstrating versatility and adaptability to diverse brands and tones.
- Experience with content strategy, SEO writing, audience research, and performance measurement.
- Editorial rigor and ability to edit others while maintaining a collaborative approach.
- Strong time management and ability to handle multiple projects with tight deadlines.
