Weāre seeking a data-driven Esports Marketing Manager to lead comprehensive marketing campaigns, partnerships, and community initiatives that accelerate fan growth and sponsor value in the LA market.
As a critical member of the marketing team, you will craft and execute hyper-targeted campaigns across social, streaming, events, and influencer networks, while collaborating with teams across product, content, and partnerships to deliver measurable impact.
Responsibility
- Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns across owned, earned, and paid channels to grow audience and sponsorship ROI.
- Lead partnerships with teams, leagues, publishers, and brands to secure activations and co-branded content.
- Plan and oversee events, tournaments, and viewing parties, including sponsor activations and on-site experiences.
- Manage marketing calendar, budgets, and performance metrics with data-driven reporting.
- Collaborate with content and creative teams to produce compelling assets (video, social, and live content).
- Own influencer and talent strategy, including contract negotiation and performance tracking.
- Monitor esports industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategy.
- Drive community engagement initiatives to foster loyalty and fan advocacy.
Qualification
- Bachelorās degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; 3+ years in esports or sports marketing.
- Proven track record delivering successful campaigns, partnerships, and activations in gaming or esports.
- Strong understanding of social platforms (Twitch, YouTube, Discord, TikTok) and performance marketing tools.
- Excellent project management, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication; ability to pitch ideas to sponsors and internal stakeholders.
- Data-driven with experience using analytics tools to measure ROI and fan growth.
- Ability to travel for events and shoots as needed (25-30%).
