Responsibility
- Oversee and coordinate daily farm operations, ensuring optimal productivity and crop quality.
- Lead and motivate a team of farm workers, providing training and performance management.
- Develop and implement sustainable farming practices and resource management strategies.
- Monitor inventory of supplies, equipment, and manage procurement processes.
- Collaborate with agronomists and scientists to optimize yield and crop health.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Prepare operational reports and analyze production metrics for continual improvement.
- Coordinate harvest logistics and product delivery schedules with vendors and distributors.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5+ years experience in farm management or agricultural operations.
- Strong knowledge of modern farm equipment and best practices in crop production.
- Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication abilities.
- Commitment to sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship.
- Ability to adapt quickly to seasonal and market changes.
- Valid U.S. driver’s license; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
