Responsibility

  • Lead forestry project planning and execution, ensuring sustainability and regulatory compliance.

  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and procurement processes.
  • Coordinate with government agencies, industry partners, Indigenous communities, and stakeholders.
  • Monitor environmental impact, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation strategies.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Forestry, Natural Resources, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of forestry project management experience in a commercial or public sector setting.
  • Strong knowledge of forest management, silviculture, timber harvesting, and certification standards (FSC/CSA).
  • Proficiency with GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS), data collection apps, and reporting tools.
