Based in the Boulder, Colorado area with flexible hybrid options, you will work with a multidisciplinary team on mineral exploration, environmental geology, and hydrogeology projects for public and private sector clients.

Responsibility

  • Plan and conduct field mapping, sampling, and data collection in diverse terrains.
  • Lead safety-minded field investigations and logistical planning for field teams.
  • Analyze field and laboratory data; ensure QA/QC and prepare preliminary interpretations.
  • Integrate GIS and remote sensing data to support exploration and environmental studies.
  • Prepare technical reports, figures, and deliverables for clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Assist with project proposals, budgeting, and client communications.
  • Collaborate with engineers, environmental scientists, and hydrologists to develop robust conclusions.
  • Mentor junior staff and field technicians, fostering a culture of learning and safety.

Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or Earth Sciences; Master's preferred.
  • 3+ years of field geology and project experience, preferably in mineral exploration or environmental geology.
  • Solid knowledge of lithology, structural geology, stratigraphy, and ore deposit types.
  • Experience with GIS (ArcGIS/QGIS), data visualization, and technical report writing.
  • Proficiency with field equipment, GPS, sampling protocols, and safety standards.
