Responsibility
- Install, diagnose, repair and service heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and safety checks on all HVAC equipment
- Interpret blueprints, schematics and wiring diagrams to install and troubleshoot systems
- Install ductwork, controls, refrigerant lines and electrical connections
- Replace worn parts, test system performance and document service activities
- Provide accurate service reports and clear recommendations to customers
- Maintain a clean, organized truck and job site; comply with safety policies
Qualification
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in residential or commercial HVAC
- EPA refrigerant recovery certification (Type II or Universal)
- State-issued HVAC technician license or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical diagrams
- Strong problem-solving, communication and customer service skills
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and perform field service in various environments
