Responsibility
- Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial HVAC systems.
- Diagnose system issues using computerized testing equipment and diagnostic tools.
- Carry out routine preventive maintenance per service cadence to maximize efficiency and longevity.
- Replace or repair components such as compressors, condensers, fans, belts, and controls as needed.
- Test electrical circuitry, refrigerant circuits, and safety devices to ensure code compliance.
- Communicate clearly with customers, document work orders, and maintain accurate service records.
- Collaborate with technicians, project managers, and suppliers to complete projects on time.
- Respond to emergency service calls and provide timely, quality resolutions.
Qualification
- HVAC trade school certification or equivalent; EPA 608 Certification preferred.
- 3+ years of field experience in residential/commercial HVAC service and installation.
- Strong knowledge of electrical fundamentals, refrigeration cycles, and environmental safety practices.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; ability to pass background checks.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in attics, crawl spaces, and rooftops.
