Responsibility
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on CNC machines, conveyors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and mechanical assemblies to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and basic electrical issues using hand tools, meters, and diagnostic software.
- Disassemble, repair, replace, and align components such as bearings, gears, shafts, belts, seals, and motors.
- Set up and balance rotating equipment, align couplings, and perform calibrations using precision instruments.
- Maintain accurate work orders, parts usage, and maintenance logs in our CMMS; communicate findings to production teams.
- Support root-cause analysis and implement improvements to enhance reliability and safety.
- Adhere to all safety policies, participate in toolbox talks, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree in industrial maintenance, mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
- 3+ years of experience as an industrial mechanic or maintenance technician in manufacturing or heavy industry.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, mechanical fitting, and problem solving.
- Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings; familiarity with tolerances and gauges.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, torque wrenches, calipers; basic welding/fabrication skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA standards.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management skills with a solutions-focused mindset.
