NovaGuard Intelligence Solutions is seeking an experienced Intelligence Analyst to join our Washington DC metro area team. You will synthesize OSINT and vetted sources to deliver actionable insights for clients in government, defense, and critical infrastructure sectors. Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive intelligence analysis using OSINT and vetted sources to produce timely, actionable assessments and briefings.
- Develop analytic products including threat assessments, trend analyses, and target profiles for clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, cyber, and policy to ensure integrated intelligence offerings.
- Monitor and evaluate risk indicators, assess source reliability, and maintain appropriate handling of sensitive information.
- Prepare and deliver briefings to executives, clients, and government partners; translate complex data into clear executive summaries.
- Stay current on geopolitical developments, defense technologies, and security sector risk landscapes.
- Ensure compliance with information security, data handling, and export control regulations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in International Relations, Security Studies, Data Science or a related field; master's degree preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in intelligence analysis, security, or risk assessment, with preference for government or defense sector experience.
- Proficiency with intelligence tools, databases, OSINT resources, and strong data visualization capabilities (Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills; ability to convey complex findings to non-technical audiences.
- Solid understanding of open-source intelligence methodologies, counterintelligence concepts, and risk assessment frameworks.
- Security clearance or ability to obtain one (eg, Top Secret / SCI) is a plus; willingness to undergo background checks.
