Join LumenFrame Studio as Lead Photographer in New York City. We’re seeking a visionary photographer with a robust portfolio in portrait, fashion, and brand storytelling to capture premium imagery that resonates with audiences.
In this full-time role, you will collaborate with creative leaders, manage shoots from concept through retouching, and mentor junior photographers to elevate our creative output.

Responsibility
- Lead planning, lighting, composition, and execution for high-profile shoots in studio and on location.
- Collaborate with art directors, fashion stylists, and clients to translate concepts into compelling imagery.
- Direct models and talent, manage on-site teams, and ensure production quality and safety.
- Oversee wardrobe and set styling coordination in collaboration with stylists.
- Rig and operate camera systems, lighting, and gear across multiple shoots per week.
- Review dailies, provide creative direction on retouching, and approve final deliverables.
- Mentor junior photographers and interns, sharing techniques and feedback to raise team performance.
Qualification
- 5+ years of professional photography experience in portrait, fashion, or brand work with a strong, diverse portfolio.
- Proficiency in studio lighting, natural light, and on-location shoots; expert color management.
- Advanced post-production skills in Lightroom, Photoshop, and color grading.
- Strong conceptual thinking with the ability to translate briefs into compelling visuals.
- Excellent directing, communication, and client relationship skills.
- Ability to manage shoots end-to-end, including schedules, budgets, and on-site logistics.
- Attention to detail and a relentless commitment to quality and deadlines.
- Portfolio demonstrating technical mastery and storytelling across genres.
