Northwest MindCare Institute is seeking a licensed clinical psychologist to join our dynamic team in Seattle. This role combines evidence-based therapy with comprehensive psychological assessment to support individuals across the lifespan.
In this position, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care, contribute to treatment planning, and participate in continuing education initiatives. We value ethical practice, patient-centered care, and a commitment to ongoing professional growth.
Responsibility
- Provide comprehensive psychological evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and evidence-based assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on DSM-5-TR criteria and best practices.
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions using modalities such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and psychodynamic approaches.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Document clinical notes accurately in the EHR, maintain HIPAA compliance, and ensure data security.
- Engage in case formulation, treatment planning reviews, and outcome measurement to monitor progress.
- Provide supervision and mentorship to psychology interns and pre-doctoral fellows as needed.
- Participate in clinic-wide quality improvement initiatives and research activities when appropriate.
Qualification
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an APA-accredited program; current licensure to practice in Washington State or eligibility for licensure.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health assessment and therapy.
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapies (CBT, DBT, ACT, IPT, etc.) and diagnostic interviewing.
- Strong communication, empathy, and ethical decision-making; commitment to patient confidentiality and HIPAA standards.
- Experience with DSM-5-TR criteria and psychological testing; training in neuropsychological assessment is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team and to supervise or teach interns as needed.
