GreenFields Ranch Co. is seeking a seasoned Livestock Farm Manager to oversee day-to-day operations across our cattle and dairy segments. This role blends hands-on animal care with operational leadership to ensure welfare, productivity, and sustainable farming practices. The ideal candidate will manage grazing, housing, feeding, health programs, biosecurity, and team supervision in a fast paced agricultural environment.

Responsibility
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily farm activities including feeding, watering, housing management, and milking (where applicable).
- Develop and implement herd health programs in collaboration with veterinarians, including vaccination, parasite control, and disease monitoring.
- Monitor feed inventories, nutrition plans, and supply chain to minimize waste and optimize growth performance.
- Ensure biosecurity and animal welfare standards are maintained; enforce safety protocols for staff and visitors.
- Lead a small team of farm workers; schedule shifts, provide coaching, and manage performance.
- Maintain accurate records using farm management software; track production, births, treatments, and culling as needed.
- Oversee equipment maintenance and facility repairs to minimize downtime and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with sales and ranch management to align operations with business goals and seasonal demands.
Qualification
- High school diploma or GED required; degree in agriculture, animal science, or related field preferred.
- 3 or more years of hands-on livestock farming experience; management experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of herd health, nutrition basics, and disease prevention.
- Experience with record keeping and farm management software; data-driven decision making.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform outdoor tasks in varying weather; valid driver's license.
