We are seeking a results driven Farm Manager to lead daily operations across cattle and poultry units in Ames, Iowa. This is a hands on leadership role with scope to implement improvements in feeding, housing, biosecurity, and data driven production planning.

Responsibility
- Oversee daily farm operations for cattle and poultry units, ensuring humane handling and welfare.
- Develop and implement feeding programs, vaccination schedules, and herd health plans.
- Monitor production records, feed consumption, and performance metrics; prepare reports.
- Manage staff scheduling, training, safety compliance, and equipment maintenance.
- Ensure strict biosecurity protocols and environmental stewardship.
- Coordinate with veterinarians, nutritionists, and suppliers to optimize costs and productivity.
- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in agriculture, animal science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of livestock farm management or operations experience.
- Strong knowledge of cattle and poultry husbandry, nutrition, and welfare standards.
- Proficient record keeping, data analysis, and basic farm accounting.
- Demonstrated leadership with ability to train and supervise a team.
- Willingness to work long hours, early mornings, weekends as needed.
- Valid driver's license; ability to operate common farm machinery.
