Join a premier livestock operation in Livermore, California. We are seeking a hands-on Farm Manager to lead daily livestock care, pasture management, and production planning on a modern multi-species farm.

Responsibility
- Lead daily care and welfare of cattle, sheep, and other livestock, ensuring proper nutrition, water access, and welfare standards.
- Plan and supervise feeding schedules, forage inventory, and feed budgeting to optimize production costs.
- Monitor animal health, coordinate with veterinarians, administer routine vaccines, and maintain treatment records.
- Direct pasture rotation, fencing, water infrastructure, and grazing plans to maximize pasture utilization.
- Manage farm staff and contractors, provide training, and enforce safety and biosecurity protocols.
- Maintain comprehensive production records, inventories, and performance reporting for owners and partners.
- Oversee equipment maintenance, sanitation, and facility upgrades to sustain efficient operations.
Qualification
- 3+ years of hands-on livestock farming experience; multi-species experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of animal health, welfare standards, vaccination protocols, and biosecurity.
- Proficient in record-keeping and basic farm management software; ability to utilize data for decision making.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills; capable of supervising staff and coordinating contractors.
- Valid driver's license; clean driving record; willingness to obtain additional certifications (forklift preferred).
- Strong math skills for budgeting and feed calculation; ability to manage inventories and cash flow.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in variable weather and extended hours during peak seasons.
