PrairieGate Farms is seeking a seasoned Livestock Farm Operations Manager to lead day-to-day operations across our cattle and swine facilities. Responsibility

  • Oversee daily livestock operations for cattle and swine, ensuring welfare, safety, and productivity across all housing and pastures.
  • Design and monitor feeding programs, nutrition plans, and rations in collaboration with the farm's nutritionist.
  • Lead and develop farm teams, schedule shifts, train staff on standard operating procedures, and enforce safety protocols.
  • Implement and monitor biosecurity, animal health, vaccination, and disease prevention programs.
  • Maintain accurate record-keeping for inventory, treatments, movement, and performance metrics using farm software.
  • Manage facilities maintenance, equipment uptime, sanitation, and waste management to meet regulatory standards.

Qualification
