NovaLog Global is seeking a results-driven Logistics Operations Manager to join our fast-growing team in Singapore. You will own end-to-end logistics operations, drive efficiency, and ensure service levels for a global client base. This role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution in a dynamic, data-driven environment.
About the role: You will lead warehousing, transportation, order processing, and supplier partnerships to deliver best-in-class logistics solutions. You will influence cross-functional teams, implement scalable processes, and champion continuous improvement initiatives that impact customer satisfaction and bottom-line results.
Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end logistics operations including inbound/outbound freight, warehousing, order fulfillment, and distribution to ensure on-time, accurate delivery.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of coordinators, supervisors, and warehouse staff; set KPIs, provide coaching, and support succession planning.
- Optimize inventory control and warehouse management using WMS and ERP systems; drive cycle counts, stock accuracy, and ABC analysis.
- Collaborate with carriers, 3PL partners and vendors to negotiate rates, service levels, and contracts; monitor performance against SLAs.
- Manage transportation planning, route optimization, and fleet utilization; drive cost-to-serve improvements while maintaining service standards.
- Analyze operational data, build dashboards, and implement continuous improvement initiatives (Lean/Six Sigma) to reduce lead times and costs.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, safety standards, and audit requirements; drive quality, safety, and environmental programs.
- Lead cross-functional projects (system upgrades, process changes, and KPI redesign) to support growth and scalability.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 6 years of logistics/warehousing operations experience, including at least 2 years in a people-management role.
- Strong working knowledge of WMS and ERP systems (e.g., SAP EWM, Oracle NetSuite, Manhattan Associates).
- Proven track record of cost reduction, process improvements, and KPI delivery (OTIF, Order Accuracy, Inventory turns).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills; proven ability to influence at all levels.
- Analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills; experience with data visualization / BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.
- Familiarity with APAC/regulatory and customs procedures; ability to navigate cross-border logistics in Singapore and the region.
- Willingness to travel up to 15% as needed.
