Ascend Mentoring Partners seeks a strategic, compassionate Mentor & Coaching Lead to grow our community of high-potential professionals through one-on-one mentorship, group coaching, and structured learning experiences. This role blends program design, coach training, and stakeholder engagement to deliver measurable career impact.
As a senior member of the Learning & Development team, you will craft mentoring curricula, onboard and train volunteer mentors, and partner with leadership to align mentoring initiatives with organizational goals.
Responsibility
- Design, implement and scale a high-impact mentoring program for early- to mid-career professionals.
- Recruit, train and onboard mentors; develop onboarding playbooks and coaching frameworks.
- Lead and facilitate group coaching sessions, webinars and live workshops.
- Measure program outcomes using metrics, dashboards and feedback loops; report to stakeholders.
- Foster an inclusive, psychologically safe mentoring environment; champion diversity and belonging.
- Partner with HR, L&D and business leaders to integrate mentoring with performance, succession and talent development.
- Manage program budget, timelines and vendor relationships as needed.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Human Resources, Business, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
- 5+ years in mentoring, coaching, or learning and development; 2+ years in program management or operations.
- Proven ability to design curricula, coaching frameworks and evaluation methods.
- Excellent communication, active listening and emotional intelligence; fluent in delivering feedback.
- Experience building diverse, inclusive mentoring programs and supporting underrepresented groups.
- Data-driven mindset with experience using analytics to measure outcomes; comfortable with CRMs/LMS and surveys.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
