Responsibility
- Maintain and secure military-grade communications systems across radio, satellite, and network infrastructures.
- Design, test, and implement resilient defense measures to protect critical information and communications.
- Respond to incidents with swift containment, root-cause analysis, and remediation planning.
- Collaborate with commanders and IT teams to align cyber defense with mission objectives and operational tempo.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, audits, and compliance reviews per DoD standards.
- Provide mentorship and training to junior personnel on secure communications practices.
Qualification
- Active Top Secret/SCI clearance or ability to obtain one within six months.
- 5+ years of military or defense industry experience in communications or cyber defense.
- Strong knowledge of DoD cybersecurity frameworks, risk management, and incident response.
- Experience with secure messaging, encryption, network architecture, and spectrum management.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills; ability to thrive under pressure.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field; or equivalent military experience.
