As a Fish Pond Manager, you will oversee all aspects of pond health, water quality, and koi welfare. What you will do
In this role you will monitor water parameters, manage filtration and aeration systems, oversee pond cleaning, and ensure safe, disease-free environments for koi. You will maintain accurate records of feeding, treatments, water tests, and fish health, while coordinating with suppliers and technicians to keep equipment in peak condition. You will also contribute to health protocols, safety standards, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance pond performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibility
- Monitor and maintain optimal water quality (pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, temperature) to support koi health.
- Oversee filtration, aeration, and circulation systems; perform routine maintenance and timely repairs.
- Manage daily feeding, dosing of water conditioners, and monitoring of feeding behavior.
- Inspect koi for signs of disease; implement approved treatment protocols and coordinate with veterinary consultants as needed.
- Clean and sanitize ponds, skimmers, pumps, and biofilters; manage weekly cleaning and sanitation routines.
- Maintain accurate records of fish health, feeding schedules, water tests, and treatments; manage inventory of medications and supplies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and team members to ensure timely procurement and maintenance scheduling.
- Ensure safety and adherence to biosecurity and safety guidelines to protect pond health and staff welfare.
Qualification
- Proven experience in koi pond maintenance, aquaculture, or related field.
- Strong understanding of aquatic chemistry and water quality management (pH, ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, temperature).
- Experience with pond filtration systems, biofilters, pumps, skimmers, and UV sterilizers.
- Ability to identify and respond to koi health issues and implement preventive care strategies.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform hands-on maintenance and lift equipment as needed.
- Detail-oriented with solid recordkeeping and data management skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication; fluency in Bahasa Indonesia; basic English is a plus.
