Join Lumen Studio & Co., a premium photography studio in Los Angeles, seeking a skilled Photographer to deliver high-quality imagery across portraits, events, fashion, and commercial projects. Responsibility
- Plan and execute photo sessions for portraits, events, fashion, and product shoots in-studio and on location.
- Collaborate with creative directors to develop concepts, shot lists, and lighting plans that meet brand standards.
- Operate and manage camera systems, lighting, and grip equipment; ensure optimal image quality and safety on set.
- Direct models and subjects, maintain a positive on-set atmosphere, and manage time efficiently during shoots.
- Process and deliver RAW files, perform color grading, exposure correction, and basic retouching for final delivery.
- Coordinate with editors and clients to ensure timely delivery and multiple rounds of revisions.
- Maintain equipment inventory, backups, and file organization; ensure proper archiving and metadata tagging.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Photography or 3+ years of professional photography experience with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency with mirrorless/DSLR cameras, strobes, continuous lighting, modifiers, and light shaping techniques.
- Advanced retouching skills in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, and/or Capture One; strong color grading ability.
- Excellent on-set communication, direction, and client-facing skills; comfortable working with diverse subjects.
- Strong time management, ability to meet deadlines, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Knowledge of licensing, model releases, copyrights, and delivery formats suitable for web and print.
- Willingness to travel for shoots and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.
- Portfolio demonstrating a range of genres including portraits, events, and product photography.
