Join a premier photography studio located in New York City. We are seeking a talented Staff Photographer to contribute to high-profile portrait, fashion, and commercial projects.
In this full-time role, you will collaborate with art directors, stylists, and clients to craft compelling imagery that aligns with brand narratives. You will manage shoots from concept through delivery, maintain studio organization, and uphold the studio’s standards of excellence.

Responsibility
- Plan and execute high-quality portrait, fashion, and lifestyle shoots in studio and on location.
- Design and operate lighting setups (strobe and continuous) and manage camera gear to deliver consistent results.
- Collaborate with art directors, stylists, and clients to interpret concepts and translate briefs into visuals.
- Direct talent and crew on set, ensuring safety, efficiency, and a positive, professional atmosphere.
- Oversee production workflow, including shot lists, backups, and file organization for seamless post-production.
- Coordinate post-production with editors, perform color grading, and ensure color accuracy across deliverables.
- Maintain studio inventory, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships to support ongoing projects.
Qualification
- 5+ years of professional photography experience with a strong portfolio in portrait and commercial work.
- Proficiency with lighting (strobe and continuous) and modern camera systems (full-frame mirrorless or DSLR).
- Expertise in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom; solid color grading and retouching skills.
- Excellent on-set communication, direction, and collaborative spirit.
- Strong time management, organization, and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Portfolio demonstrating versatility across studio, lifestyle, and fashion contexts; degree in Photography or related field preferred.
