GreenHarvest Innovations is hiring a hands-on Precision Agriculture Specialist to lead field data programs across our California operations. You will bridge agronomy and technology to optimize yields, reduce input waste, and improve sustainability. This role combines fieldwork with data analytics, delivering actionable insights to farmers and agronomy teams.

Responsibility
- Lead the design and execution of precision agriculture programs across multiple fields and crops.
- Collect, clean, and analyze field data from sensors, drones, soil tests, and irrigation systems.
- Develop irrigation scheduling and nutrient management plans to optimize water use and yields.
- Collaborate with agronomists to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Monitor crop health using remote sensing tools and field scouting, adjusting practices as needed.
- Maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and reporting for internal teams and clients.
- Train farm staff on new technologies, data collection protocols, and best practices.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
- 2+ years in precision agriculture, agronomy, or related tech-enabled farming roles.
- Experience with GIS, remote sensing, and data analytics (Excel, Python, or R).
- Strong understanding of soil science, irrigation systems, and crop physiology.
- Ability to work in field conditions, travel to sites, and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; ability to translate data into practical actions.
- Knowledge of farm equipment, sensors, and data collection tools.
