In this role, you will design and implement precision agriculture programs, analyze sensor and yield data, and collaborate with growers to optimize irrigation, nutrient management, and pest control.

Responsibility
- Lead the design and deployment of precision agriculture programs across multiple farm sites, including variable-rate application, sensor networks, and irrigation control systems.
- Analyze soil, plant health, and microclimate data to generate actionable recommendations for inputs and scheduling.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (yield, water use efficiency, input costs) to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with agronomists, farm managers, and technology teams to implement scalable solutions.
- Configure and pilot new sensors, drones, and GIS tools to optimize field operations.
- Provide training and support to farm staff on precision agriculture practices and technology adoption.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental regulations, and record-keeping requirements.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years in precision agriculture, agronomy, or farm data analytics.
- Proficiency in Python or R, SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with GIS, drone imagery, soil sensors, and variable-rate technology.
- Strong understanding of irrigation scheduling, nutrient management, and pest management.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- Ability to travel between site locations up to 25% and work flexible hours as needed.
- Authorized to work in the United States.
