GreenHarvest AgriTech is seeking a highly motivated Precision Agriculture Specialist to advance data driven farming for our grower partners in California. This role combines agronomy expertise with cutting edge technology to optimize yields, reduce inputs, and promote sustainable practices.
As part of our field operations team, you will implement and monitor precision irrigation, nutrient management, and crop health monitoring using drone imagery, soil sensors, and farm management software. You will translate field data into actionable recommendations that help growers improve profitability while protecting natural resources.

Responsibility
- Lead implementation of precision agriculture strategies, including irrigation scheduling, nutrient management, and pest/disease monitoring.
- Analyze field data from sensors, drones, and GIS to generate actionable recommendations for growers.
- Configure and optimize farm management software, databases, and reporting dashboards.
- Collaborate with agronomy and engineering teams to pilot new technologies and scalable workflows.
- Train farm staff and partner growers on best practices and data interpretation.
- Monitor crop performance, conduct trials, and track yield outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations in all field activities.
- Prepare client-ready reports and presentations showing ROI and impact of interventions.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in agronomy, horticulture, soil science, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in precision agriculture, field agronomy, or digital farming.
- Strong data analysis skills; proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python or R; experience with GIS is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with irrigation systems, soil sensors, drone imagery, and farm management software.
- Excellent communication, training, and client-facing skills.
- Willingness to travel within the region (up to 40% of the time).
