Responsibility
- Lead design and execution of precision agriculture programs using drone imagery, soil moisture sensors, and satellite data to optimize irrigation and fertilization.
- Analyze field data to generate actionable recommendations for growers and field technicians.
- Collaborate with agronomists, data scientists, and product teams to deploy scalable technology solutions.
- Manage pilot projects from planning through implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
- Develop training materials and deliver hands-on workshops for farm staff and customers.
- Monitor crop performance metrics and prepare monthly impact reports for stakeholders.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulatory guidelines, and best practices in sustainable farming.
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in agronomy, horticulture, agriculture engineering, or a related field; master's preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in precision agriculture, agronomy, or farm tech deployment.
- Strong data analysis skills; proficiency with Python or R and GIS tools is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with agronomic sensors, UAV imagery, and farm management software.
- Excellent communication and project management abilities; capable of training diverse audiences.
- Ability to travel regionally up to 25% of the time; valid driver’s license.
