PT Hasiba Cakra Industri is seeking a resilient and detail-oriented professional to join our QC Raw Material, Sinter Ore & Chemical Laboratory as a Junior Leader. Based in Cikarang, this role offers a hands-on opportunity to uphold quality across critical raw materials in a heavy materials operation. You will support production by delivering accurate laboratory results, maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards, and developing leadership skills within a collaborative team environment.
In this role you will:
- Lead sample collection and preparation of raw materials and sinter ore for analytical testing, ensuring proper chain of custody and documentation.
- Perform routine and non-routine QC analyses using standard laboratory methods to verify material specifications align with product requirements.
- Record, review, and report results; communicate deviations and corrective actions to production teams and quality assurance leaders.
- Assist in calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments, ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support the development and optimization of testing procedures, contributing to continuous improvement of QC processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized lab environment, manage consumables inventory, and ensure proper waste handling in line with regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production targets while upholding GMP/ISO quality practices.

Responsibility
- Lead sample collection and preparation of raw materials and sinter ore for analytical testing, ensuring proper chain of custody.
- Execute standard QC analyses to verify material specifications meet product requirements.
- Document results, flag deviations, and communicate findings to production and QA teams.
- Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments; ensure safety and quality compliance.
- Assist in developing and optimizing testing procedures for increased efficiency and accuracy.
- Maintain lab cleanliness, inventory of consumables, and proper waste disposal in line with regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support production targets while maintaining GMP/ISO standards.
- Provide mentorship and support to junior staff, contributing to a positive and collaborative lab culture.
Qualification
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; fresh graduates with internship or project experience are welcome.
- 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory or QC environment is preferred; strong willingness to learn and grow into a lead role.
- Solid understanding of QA/QC principles, testing methods, and documentation practices.
- Familiarity with basic lab instrumentation and safety protocols; ability to calibrate and maintain equipment.
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills; good communication and teamwork.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial setting and adapt to shift schedules if required.
- Proficient data recording and basic statistics (control charts) are a plus.
- Commitment to GMP/ISO standards and company safety policies.
