NovaFrame Animation is seeking a creative and technically skilled Senior Animator to join our vibrant team in Los Angeles. You will drive high-quality animation pipelines for feature-quality shorts and TV series, mentor junior artists, and collaborate with directors to bring bold storytelling to life.

Responsibility
- Lead character animation on multiple sequences, ensuring timing, acting, and silhouette excellence.
- Create and refine 2D/3D animation using Maya, Toon Boom Harmony, and Blender in collaboration with the pipeline team.
- Collaborate with directors, storyboard artists, riggers, and lighting to maintain consistent style and quality.
- Mentor junior animators, provide constructive feedback, and foster a culture of learning.
- Own shot schedules, review calendars, and ensure on-time delivery of polished shots.
- Polish animation through cycles of feedback, polishing key poses, and lip-sync alignment.
- Contribute to reference materials, notes, and library assets to streamline production.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Animation, Film, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of professional animation experience in feature or television production with a strong reel.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as Maya, Toon Boom Harmony, Blender; After Effects is a plus.
- Deep understanding of timing, spacing, anatomy, and character acting; strong eye for detail.
- Experience with rigging concepts and collaboration across pipelines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- A portfolio or reel that demonstrates range of character performance and storytelling.
