NovaFrame Studios is seeking a seasoned Animation Artist to join our talented team in Los Angeles. You will lead animation sequences, collaborate with directors and designers, and help shape characters from concept to final render. This is a hands-on role that blends artistry with technical execution to deliver cinematic, high-impact animation for feature films, television, and interactive media.

Responsibility
- Lead and execute high-quality character animation across 2D, 3D, and hybrid media for film and television projects.
- Collaborate with directors, storyboard artists, riggers, and TDs to plan animation sequences and refine pipelines.
- Create polished animation cycles, timing charts, and motion studies to guide production.
- Develop and adjust character rigs and respond to feedback to improve performance and believability.
- Ensure consistency of style, emotion, and pacing across scenes while meeting production deadlines.
- Mentor junior animators, share best practices, and contribute to a positive studio culture.
- Optimize scenes for performance on target platforms and deliver final assets for rendering.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Animation, Visual Effects, Computer Graphics, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional animation experience in film, TV, or game production.
- Proficiency in Maya and/or Blender; familiarity with Toon Boom Harmony is a plus.
- Strong understanding of timing, anatomy, motion principles, and cinematography for animation.
- Experience with rigging and collaborating with TDs to optimize character performance.
- Portfolio demonstrating a breadth of styles and compelling storytelling through motion.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Ability to adapt to evolving feedback and maintain high quality under production pressure.
