AssetValuation Partners, a premium valuation advisory, is seeking a Senior Asset Valuation Analyst to join our New York City office. You will lead complex valuations for tangible and intangible assets across multiple industries, support M&A activity, financial reporting, and capital market transactions. Responsibility
- Lead standalone and engaged asset valuations across real estate, equipment, and intangible assets using income, market, and cost approaches.
- Develop and validate robust valuation models (DCF, precedent transactions, multiples) to support client decisions and reporting under IFRS and GAAP.
- Collaborate with deal teams on M&A, financings, impairment testing, and financial disclosures.
- Perform sensitivity analyses, scenario planning, and risk assessment to quantify value drivers and uncertainties.
- Prepare technical reports and present valuation findings to executives, boards, investors, and auditors.
- Maintain data integrity by sourcing high-quality data, performing quality checks, and documenting methodologies.
- Mentor junior analysts, review work, and provide training on valuation methodology and best practices.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and market developments affecting asset valuations.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, or a related field; CFA/CPA is a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in asset valuation, corporate finance, or valuation advisory.
- Proven expertise in valuation methodologies including DCF, comparable company analysis, and precedent transactions.
- Strong financial modeling skills in Excel; experience with valuation software and data analysis tools.
- Solid understanding of IFRS and GAAP reporting requirements related to valuations and impairment testing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple engagements, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and a client-centric mindset.
