Responsibility
- Perform accurate vehicle inspections and diagnose problems using electrical, mechanical, and diagnostic tools.
- Carry out routine maintenance services (oil changes, brake services, fluids, tires) with precision and efficiency.
- Interpret service manuals, diagrams, and data; communicate findings clearly to customers and teammates.
- Repair/replace faulty components with safety, environmental, and warranty compliance in mind.
- Utilize OEM software and scan tools to read fault codes and validate repairs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment; adhere to company safety policies.
- Document work performed and update service records in the shop management system.
- Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to meet production goals while delivering exceptional service.
Qualification
- 2+ years of professional automotive repair experience or completed apprenticeship program.
- Strong knowledge of diagnostics for engines, electrical, brakes, and drivability systems.
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and reading wiring diagrams/service manuals.
- Detail-oriented, with a commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record; ability to pass background check and drug screen.
- ASE Certification is preferred; manufacturer-specific training is a plus.
