Join NimbusTech Cloud Solutions, a leading innovator in cloud-native platforms. We design, build, and scale mission-critical workloads across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. We are seeking a Senior Cloud Platform Engineer to drive modern cloud architectures, automation, and security.
In this role, you will partner with product, security, and SRE teams to deliver scalable, resilient cloud services that power our customers' digital transformations. You’ll own platform reliability, performance, and cost optimization in a multi-cloud environment.
Responsibility
- Design, implement, and scale cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud to support multi-tenant applications.
- Lead infrastructure as code (IaC) initiatives using Terraform and CI/CD pipelines to automate provisioning and deployments.
- Architect highly available, secure, and cost-efficient platforms with robust monitoring and incident response.
- Collaborate with product, security, and SRE teams; mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.
- Drive automation, performance tuning, and capacity planning to meet evolving demand.
- Establish governance, security controls, IAM policies, and compliance with industry standards.
- Champion observability with modern tooling (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) and proactive alerting.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of cloud engineering or platform engineering experience in multi-cloud environments.
- Deep hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, plus Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Proficient in Terraform or other IaC tools; strong CI/CD and GitOps practices.
- Programming experience in Python, Go, or shell scripting; strong Linux fundamentals.
- Solid knowledge of networking, IAM, security, encryption, and compliance considerations.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills; ability to lead initiatives cross-functional.
- Experience with monitoring/observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) and incident response.
