Pulse Performance Fitness is seeking a dynamic, client-focused Personal Trainer to join our premier team in midtown Manhattan. You will design evidence-based training plans, coach clients to their goals, and contribute to a culture of excellence, accountability, and results. As a member of our team, you will work with diverse clients from beginners to high-performance athletes, delivering tailored coaching in one-on-one and small-group settings. You’ll leverage premium equipment and a data-driven approach to help clients achieve sustainable health and physique outcomes while ensuring safety and adherence to industry standards.
Responsibility
- Design personalized training programs based on client assessments, goals, and capabilities.
- Lead one-on-one and small-group sessions with exceptional coaching, motivation, and technique correction.
- Monitor progress, track metrics, and adapt plans to maximize results.
- Educate clients on movement mechanics, injury prevention, nutrition basics, and recovery strategies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe training floor; ensure equipment is inspected and properly stored.
- Foster client retention through consistent communication, progress updates, and program refreshes.
- Collaborate with nutrition and wellness specialists to support holistic lifestyle changes.
- Mentor junior trainers and contribute to team education sessions.
Qualification
- Certification from NASM, ACE, NSCA, or equivalent (CPT required).
- Current CPR/AED certification and first aid training.
- Minimum 2+ years of professional personal training experience.
- Proven ability to design safe, effective training programs for varied populations.
- Excellent communication, empathy, and motivational coaching skills.
- Strong business-minded approach with client-first mindset and high integrity.
- Ability to work flexible hours including mornings, evenings, and weekends.
- Proficiency with fitness tracking tools and basic nutrition knowledge is a plus.
