Responsibility

  • Lead reservoir studies and strategic planning to maximize hydrocarbon recovery and NPV across multiple assets.
  • Develop and refine field development plans, casing and completion strategies, and extended-reach drilling concepts.
  • Perform reservoir simulation using Petrel, Eclipse, and other industry-standard tools; interpret data to guide decision-making.
  • Analyze well test data, production history, and pressure transient data to optimize stimulation and production strategies.
  • Collaborate with drilling, production, and facilities teams to ensure safe, cost-effective execution and rapid issue resolution.
  • Quantify uncertainty, perform risk assessments, and prepare technical justifications for management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers; lead technical reviews, audits, and knowledge sharing across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance processes.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Minimum 5-7 years of upstream oil and gas experience with a demonstrated track record in reservoir engineering and field development.
  • Proficiency with reservoir simulation and E&P software (Petrel, Eclipse, Prosper or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of drilling, completion, production operations, and artificial lift systems.
  • Experience in data analytics, uncertainty quantification, and decision analysis under risk and economic evaluation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and present to stakeholders.
  • Well-versed in HSE practices and regulatory compliance; ability to work in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.
  • Willingness to relocate to or reside in Houston, TX; eligible to work in the United States.
