Join NovaPack Solutions, a premium packaging studio delivering innovative and sustainable packaging solutions for leading consumer brands. We are seeking a Senior Product Packaging Designer to drive end-to-end packaging concepts from ideation through production.
In this role you will collaborate with product, marketing, and operations to create compelling, cost-efficient packaging that protects the product, enhances shelf impact, and aligns with sustainability goals.
Responsibility
- Lead the packaging concept development for new product launches, balancing aesthetics, functionality, and cost
- Develop 3D models and dielines using industry standard tools
- Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers to validate materials and processes
- Prototype and test packaging for performance, shelf life, and regulatory compliance
- Drive sustainability initiatives including recyclability, material selection, and waste reduction
- Present concepts to cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and vendor relationships
- Maintain design system and documentation for rapid production
Qualification
- 5+ years in product packaging design or packaging engineering for consumer goods
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD and dieline software such as ArtiosCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent
- Experience with paper, carton, corrugate, and flexible packaging materials
- Solid understanding of printing processes, color management, and prepress
- Portfolio demonstrating successful packaging concepts with measurable impact
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
- Knowledge of regulatory and sustainability standards (FSC, BPI, etc.) is a plus
- Bachelors degree in Packaging, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
